About Us

It is our mission to provide a quality education, while promoting a Christian worldview, that will equip our students for their God-given purpose in this world.

Statement of Faith

-THE BIBLE — We believe the whole Bible, from Genesis to Revelation, is the verbally inspired Word of God. (II Timothy 3:16). We believe the translation for English -speakers is the King James Version. It is the Bible we use from our pulpit and in our classes.

-JESUS — We believe Jesus Christ was born of Mary the virgin, and is the very Son of God. (Matthew 1:23)

-SALVATION — We believe that Christ died for our sins. (I Corinthians 15:3)
We believe that He arose from the grave the third day. (I Corinthians 15:4)
We believe that He alone is the mediator and intercessor between God and man. (I Timothy 2:5; Hebrews 7:25)
We believe that in order to be “saved” the spirit must be born again. (John 3:3)
We believe that the Holy Spirit rebirths our spirit when we repent and believe (have faith). (Luke 13:3, 5; Acts 3:19; 17:13; John 3:16)

We believe that salvation is by God's grace through faith, a gift of God, and not by works. (Ephesians 2:8-10).

-BAPTISM and THE LORD'S SUPPER —  We believe that immersion baptism and the Lord's Supper are the only two ordinances that Jesus left for His church, and that they are pictorial and memorial in nature.  We believe that every born again soul should declare his/her faith through baptism by immersion in water. (Romans 6:4-5)  We believe that the Lord's Supper is to be observed as a local body, with unleavened bread and pure grape juice which memorialize his broken body and shed blood. (I Corinthians 11:23-26)

-ONCE SAVED, ALWAYS SAVED — We believe that Christ keeps those who are born again eternally secure. (II Timothy 1:12; John 10:28)

-BIBLICAL SEPARATION — We believe that Christians are called to separation from worldly, sinful practices, unto a life of usefulness for Christ. (II Corinthians 6:17)

-THE LOCAL CHURCH — We believe a church is an independent, local, visible body of baptized believers whose mission is to preach and teach the gospel of salvation. (Matthew 28:18-20)

Who We Serve

Central Baptist Academy is a ministry of Central Baptist Church that seeks to provide an alternative experience to Christian families in our local and surrounding communities.  We believe Christian education requires more than just Christian teachers and a Bible-based curriculum.  Our goal is to utilize those two assets while also turning the hearts of each child toward the Lord’s desire for their lives – salvation, sanctification, and service.  CBA is not exclusive to CBC members for enrollment, however, families that enroll from other religious backgrounds are asked to sign a consent form stating their understanding and support for the biblical teachings lead in our classes each day.  Applicants will not be accepted who are participating in non-scriptural activities such as homosexuality, transgenderism, or pre-marital sexual activities.

Statement of Non-discrimination

CBA admits students of any race, color, and national or ethnic origin.  In addition, CBA does not discriminate on the basis of race, color and national or ethnic origin in administration of its educational policies, sponsorships/fees/waivers/educational programs, and athletic/extra-curricular activities.  Central Baptist Academy does reserve the right to not admit students that we feel we are unable to meet their special educational needs.

This nondiscriminatory Policy of CBA also includes the hiring of faculty or administrative staff.

What We Offer

Stellar Scholastics

CBA utilizes the Abeka Book Christian School curriculum. Over the past 70 years, Abeka has provided the keys to some of the nation’s most advanced learning programs on the market. Their step by step approach to writing, reading, grammar, and mathematics help build student’s understanding of the world we live and provide them the resources they need to be successful.   To learn more about specific curriculum questions, see their Scope & Sequence

Engaging Electives

CBA partners with multiple local volunteers skilled in various areas such as art, library, music, and physical education to provide enriched opportunities for extracurricular hands-on learning.

Afterschool Resources

CBA provides two afterschool programs to serve its student body.  Aftercare is a service running from 3:45-5:45 where students can work on assignments, play games, and interact with friends while they wait for their ride to pick them up. This service can be scheduled in advance or utilized in a pinch.  Tutoring is another after school program that students can request from our teaching staff when desired. Lead teachers work with the student in areas of weakness referenced by the student’s classroom teacher. Time spent together reviewing and drilling concepts can lead to improved outcomes within the classroom.
